Project Timing

Additional information and definitions on project timing for SB Design clients using Podio.

The Urgent, Standard, and Flexible options are in place to better manage timing expectations.

Urgent

  • A 25% rush fee applies
  • 1–2 work day turnaround, subject to availability
  • Excludes weekends and public holidays
  • Depends on project size
  • Contact Simon ASAP to confirm availability

Sounds like: “Help! I need this ASAP!”

Standard

  • Normal hourly rate applies
  • 3–6 work day turnaround, subject to availability
  • Excludes weekends and public holidays
  • Depends on project size

Sounds like: “Please schedule this for completion as close to the Proposed Due Date as possible.”

Flexible

  • Normal hourly rate applies
  • 7+ work day turnaround, subject to availability
  • Excludes weekends and public holidays
  • Depends on project size

Sounds like: “Complete this at your earliest convenience.”

Of course, when we can fit your work in sooner than 7 days, we will do so.

Rush Fee

A 25% rush fee applies when a project needs to ‘jump the queue’ to meet a deadline.

For example, if I’m working on a 3-day project for Client A and Client B requests an urgent task, Client B will be charged a 25% rush fee to prioritise their project over others.

Proposed Due Date

The ‘Proposed Due Date’ field is exactly that—proposed. It does not account for any work I’ve already committed to.
